Intel working on new gaming platform, SkullTrail

A few months ago, at the fall Intel Developer’s Forum, we got some hands-on time with an Intel Skulltrail system and were able to snap a handful pictures and document a few benchmark scores.  At the time, Skulltrail was still in it the pre-production phase as Intel had a few changes in store for the platform, but it was mature enough for the company to show off what Skulltrail had in store.

Microsoft Connect Working on New Website

I spotted the beta version of MS connect, and while the color scheme isnt my taste, it makes connect easier to navigate, and gives it a web 2.0 feel. I just started using it, and it has many new features, such as your dashboard has an overview of your suggestions, newsgroup postings, bugs, etc and makes things a little easier to get to.

 They categorized the Connection Directory(formerly the ”Available Connections” page) and of course made it easier to navigate. There is a lot more improvements, but I just started to use it. See it all and try it for yourself…

Vista SP1 RC1 Released to Public, MS works on new build

As a lot of you know already, Microsoft released Vista SP1 RC1 to the public for download by everyone, and not just a group of testers. Now, Microsoft is cooking up a new build of SP1 to be released, Windows SP1 RC2 v.735. I don’t know the exact date it is coming out, but it is going to be rather soon, and I will post up screenshots when I can along with more detailed info on it.

I have not been posting on this site, or updating you with news mostly because I was sucked into the world of addictive online FPS games. I will be an active blogger again, so stay tuned for updates, and maybe some surprises …
